special covid-19 rules & Notices

There is an inherent risk of COVID-19 exposure in public places where people are present.

COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and people with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting the Cayton, you and the members of your party agree to adhere to all Cayton rules and instructions, and acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

We require timed entry reservations.

Visitor capacity will be limited to provide a safe and comfortable guest experience for everyone at the Cayton. Please make your reservation in advance through our website, by emailing us at info@caytonmuseum.org, or by calling 424-416-8320. Reservations can also be made on-site at the front desk, but availability and your preferred entry time are not guaranteed.

Please stay at home if you are not feeling well.

Please do not visit the Cayton if you have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, if you are currently under isolation or quarantine orders, or if you have experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. Tickets are nonrefundable, but you may contact us at info@caytonmuseum.org to reschedule your visit.

Guest health screening.

Before entering each guest may need to verify that they have not been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms for the last 14 days, are not currently under isolation or quarantine orders, and do not have any COVID-19 symptoms. If any member of your party has symptoms, all members of your party will be asked to visit at another time. If you should begin to feel ill during a visit, please notify our staff for assistance.

Treat everyone with kindness and respect.

We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, but our staff is here to help you. Please respect them. We won't tolerate any yelling, intimidation, threats, swearing, or any other inappropriate behavior. Anyone who is aggressive toward staff or other guests will be asked to leave.

The Cayton reserves the right to impose additional COVID-19-related or other health and safety restrictions at any time as new or additional information or requirements are made known by local, state, or national health experts.
